Our Vision: To mentor teenage girls through biblical principles and guidelines that will prepare them for greater responsibility as they approach adulthood.
Our mission: The mission of Divine Hope Mentoring Ministry (DHMM) for teenage girls is to develop, inspire, motivate, teach and encourage teenage girls between the ages of 13 – 18 to become confident in whom God says they are in Him. It is our heart desire to address concerns of teenage girls regardless of race through biblical principles and precepts in a manner by which they can mature spiritually, learn from one another, and positively impact their church and community.
Our goals: We have built our goals based upon Habakkuk 2:2-3. (KJ21)
And the LORD answered me and said: "Write the vision and make it plain upon tablets, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak and not lie. Though it tarry, wait for it, because it will surely come; it will not tarry.
- We will provide a positive atmosphere for teenage girls who desire to grow spiritually, mentally and physically.
- We will equip and challenge teenage girls for effective ministry through biblical teachings. (We will prepare them to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ)
- We will identify, develop and nurture the spiritual gifts God has given to each of them.
- We will encourage them to pray individually and together
- We will address the concerns of teenage girls and give them Godly counsel.
- We will establish outreach programs tailored for them to meet other teenagers in the faith.
- We will participate in voluntary community service projects to establish a servant’s heart
- We will teach biblical etiquette
- We will stay focused, have fun, build lasting relationships, make a difference, and impact the Kingdom of God for such a time as this!
